Meet the Team

With years of experience, numerous qualifications and awards, the Trailblazers Team are all passionate about the game. Our drive is developing, improving and inspiring the next generation of players.

Fliss Von Christian

Club Chair and Head Coach

Fliss is our Club Chair, one of the Head Coaches, and generally the Boss/Overlord of everyone and everything Trailblazers.

Fliss is a Level 2 Coach and a qualified Umpire, and has recently been appointed by England Netball as the Netball Development Officer for Norfolk, which is hugely exciting, and will hopefully help her on her crusade for world (ok County) domination.

Apart from Netball, Fliss loves cake and cats and the night sky. And more cake if possible.

Jazz Stevens

Head Coach and Club Treasurer

Anna Denmark

Social and Events Manager

Anna has played netball since school, including county netball, Dereham and Kings Ling Leagues and even spent two years playing ladies and mixed netball in Australia.

Anna holds a degree in Science and Sports Coaching and an NVQ in Sports Therapy. She is a keen runner and passionate about fitness.

Alongside being a player and developing her umpiring skills, Anna’s primary role at Trailblazers is organising social events, fundraisers and netball trips to support and strengthen the club community.

Rachel Savage

Coach and Team Black Captain

Rachel is the Trailblazers Black Team Captain and a PE teacher with a real passion for netball. Her love of the game has led her to coach sessions, umpire matches, and achieve her C Umpire Award qualification.

Rachel enjoys keeping active, has a soft spot for crisps, and strongly believes in the importance of sport for socialising, wellbeing, and its positive impact on mental health.

Lauren Dodman

Club Secretary and Team Orange Captain

Anna Clark

Kit Manager and Team Orange Vice Captain

Anna is a Level 1 Coach, supporting the Head Coaches to do their thing.

Whilst Anna used to play netball in school, she had not done any sport or exercise until joining the club in her late 30s. She has since found a passion for sport through netball, including running and cycling, and has even completed a couple of triathlons recently.

If she’s not playing netball she is probably planning her next holiday.

Emily

Team Black Vice Captain
